WELL
The WELL Building Standard® is a rating system for buildings that promotes clean air and works to minimise the sources of indoor pollution.
The standard focuses exclusively on the health and wellbeing of people in buildings, and the WELL® performance requirements are designed to address issues that impact the health, comfort or knowledge of occupants.
According to the WELL® standard, a building can be either Silver, Gold or Platinum certified depending on which criteria the building fulfils. There are two types of criteria: Preconditions, which in all cases must be fulfilled in order to achieve Silver level certification, and optimisations which can lead the way to Gold or Platinum level certifications, depending on the number of relevant optimisations.
