More

More committed. More colours. More choices. Rooted in Scandinavian design traditions for over 170 years, we have specialised in creating aesthetic, high-performance textiles that stand the test of time – always crafted with dedication and respect for both people and the environment.

Our expertise is built on generations of knowledge, but as you know, expertise is not a destination – but an ongoing ride. That’s why we continuously explore, innovate, and expand our knowledge to create the best solutions. Our fabrics are engineered to perform, enhance spaces, and create lasting value.

More Colours

Our colours are carefully curated to create a harmonious palette across our entire fabric portfolio. Each colour scale is diverse – whether you're looking for subtle tones or bold accents, to create contrast or cohesion, our colours work seamlessly together. This makes it easy to mix and match within a single colour scale, as well as across our full product range.

And we don't just create colours – we create patterns through texture. Our yarns are thoughtfully crafted, and we apply creativity when combining them to form surfaces with distinctive structure, depth, and textural patterns. At the same time, this enhances the tactile qualities of the fabric.

More commitment

We have long been committed to creating fabrics that prioritize both the well-being of people and the environment – well before it became a widespread concern. In 1995, we took a pioneering step by publishing our first sustainability report, sharing our progress with the public. Since then, we have remained transparent and continue to set ambitious goals.

CO₂-neutral and solar-powered

For the fifth year in a row – since 2019 – Gabriel Group has been CO₂e-neutral for Scope 1 and 2, in accordance with the international Greenhouse Gas Protocol and we are already working on mapping our Scope 3 emissions. We use only renewable energy – generated by our own solar panels across Europe or sourced from wind and solar providers.

Its All About Great Design 2

Long history of responsible manufacturing

With an initiative in the 1980s, we began dyeing without heavy metals and stopped using toxic moth-proofing chemicals. Since then, we have followed a strict 'no harmful chemicals' policy, with testing and labelling schemes documenting that our fabrics are free from harmful substances. Additionally, ISO certifications dating back to 1991 and 1996 validate our standards

Safety for the User

82% of our fabrics are EU Ecolabel certified, and 100% carry the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification. This means our products have been tested and documented to contribute to a safe and healthy indoor environment.

In addition, 75% of our fabrics have been tested according to the VOC test (ANSI/BIFMA M7.1), ensuring that our customers have easy access to data on volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This transparency allows for informed decisions, supporting healthier spaces.

Circularity in practice

Circular economy is not only about recycling; it also focuses on keeping materials and products in circulation for as long as possible. We have researched and tested extensively, and continue to do so, to innovate new solutions. Currently, our Loop System, ShapeKnit, and Monoback provide solutions that support our customers in creating products that are both recycled and recyclable.

More Choices

When it comes to textiles, variety is essential. Our fabric collections showcase a broad and diverse spectrum. But making the right choices goes beyond variety — it requires careful consideration of functionality, aesthetic appeal, and ease of use both throughout the interior design process and in the final upholstery.

We offer a wide selection of colours and textures that also deliver on critical performance parameters – including durability, flammability, user health, and environmental responsibility. And beyond their beauty, all our fabrics are engineered to stand the test of time – both visually and functionally.
